i think barry must have known that by dating lup, he was essentially in a relationship with lup-and-taako, ie, taako would just Be Around Constantly and thats just how things are.
kravitz on the other hand does not have this information yet.

all of this is very good. kravitz for a split second being like “holy shit my boyfriend’s been cloned, oh wait, that’s just lup.” and then barry walking in being like “oh hey krav yeah i thought lup would be here” and just lying down next to her and kravitz being like “this is so many people on my bed” but being pretty okay with that.
and yeah! kravitz must have been instantly like holy shit they’re so great i gotta get a deal for them also taako would be so sad if i didnt get em a deal. i think he was just like. super predisposed to like em cause of the voidfishing and lup was so fuckin stoked to interrogate the grim reaper that her bro is dating.
They’re just always there. That or Taako is dragging Kravitz off to Lup and Barry’s place first thing in the morning, they just got up and they’re still in their robes or whatever they slept in (because you know they must live rightnext to each other) but Taako has decided that he and Lup are making breakfast in her kitchen this morning. And Kravitz just… goes with it because it’s Lup and Taako making breakfast and you do not say no to that.
Also hell yeah Lup is stoked to have Kravitz in the family, he made a pretty good first impression by leading Legion off to battle the judge and you know Lup was about that.
kravitz for the first six months of their relationship being constantly slightly bewildered by taako being so much of taako but also like, helplessly charmed, is honestly my favorite thing. and it must have been really interesting for him to go from hanging out with his bf alone to taako being like “babe we need to go over to lup and barrys right now” “taako why” “cause i said so, open up a portal, big guy.” but like, it must be nice for him to suddenly have a family? like kravitz suddenly gaining basically 2 siblings/coworkers/inlaws type deal and also sort of a son (ango) must have been a lot but a good a lot.
lup constantly says that her first impression of kravitz was so much more impressive than anything he has done ever after that.
I hadn’t really thought of it, but that must have been quite a change? Taako coming from a history of being alone and then Taako coming from a history of having this close relationship probably changed (at least a little) how he interacts with others, most significantly that he wants to be around these specific people all the time (instead of the my-relationship-is-nobody’s-business attitude)(I mean he introduced Kravitz to Lup in the middle of the apocalypse that was a priority for him). And like… Taako’s happier? More trusting, more open, even just a little? And it’s still Taako but like… with the volume turned up, with the colors brightened. How can Kravitz not be happy about that? It’s an adjustment to have all of these people around all the time, but they’re funny, and they ask him questions about himself and listen to him and it’s not just because he’s there with Taako, it’s that they care about him, and it’s a revelation.

and yeah kravitz is like a lil overwhelmed i bet by all the changes but good overwhelmed. i think he’s like “holy fuck these people care about my boyfriend so much im so glad, and holy shit he cares about them so much too, im so glad about that also.”

Yeah definitely, and for Taako’s sake he’s probably kinda relieved? That he actually hadn’t been alone all those years, that he no longer thinks people wouldn’t want him.
