I have had a glass of wine and now I am starting a miniature knitting project. I am a very very very cheap drunk. Wish me luck.
I guess it’s smarter than getting out the Shetland ring shawl?
It’s happening! The short rows and picking up stitches are going to be a bit fun.
This frightens me but I kind of want to do something like it sometime also.
Good thing I’m nearsighted!
Start with laceweight wool and 1.5mm needles first.
I’m working with <1mm needles and sewing thread there and it’s so slippy slidey that I’ve dropped plenty of stitches.
Wool will be much better behaved.
And there are plenty of miniature knitting patterns available for free on Rav. Or you could design a little blanket/scarf or do a swatch in a nice pattern.
Good luck, I believe in you.
Also, don’t do it after a glass of wine. That’s a dumb idea.
