The greatest growth in America came when we taxed the rich. It was post-WWII 1950s. Top tax rate was 90%. Progressive taxation built the country into a super power. Deficits were non-existent.

Conversely, not taxing the rich is a massive failure. #trickle

Minnesota also taxed the wealthy under its Democratic Gov and legislature, and it’s economy is booming with a large surplus, Wisconsin, right next door, under it’s Republican Gov and legislature, made huge tax cuts for the wealthy and it’s economy is tanking, with huge deficits. We are spending money on our education system, giving more grants and aid to more students, while Gov Walker is gutting the entire Wisconsin University system to turn it into one large vocational school.
