and now i’m just terrified

i just saw this doll in the national toy hall of fame this weekend!  it was supposed to work off of feelings of empathy and compassion, so a little girl could feel like a hero for taking in a little homeless street urchin and loving it.  but it scared the shit out of kids, especially because its eyes have a weird glow to them that doesn’t come across in this picture, and it was a total commercial failure.
