idk if this is a universal thing but here when buses pass each other the drivers wave at each other and it is Endearing, they look so happy to see each other, and my cousin is a bus driver so i asked him about it and apparently its like an instinct and somewhat of a tradition. you wave at the passing driver whether you know them or not. apparently he even waves at people driving buses from rival companies and they wave back. i love it. bus driver solidarity
