Send a thank you card or email the next day! Cards are more effective but not as quick if you’re using the mail, but they’re quick if you drop them off yourself. Thank you notes make people remember you more than anyone else, and it’ll have your first and last name in it at the end, making that connection even stronger ^^
i always see this as advice for job interviews but it feels like a much better thing to do for networking because it’s like hey thanks for taking time out of your schedule to meet with me as opposed to “hey thanks for allowing me to be one of the people you were scheduled to spend time on”
