is just too big a stretch for my suspension of disbelief. Magic, unicorns, childhood trauma manifesting as a physical representation of destruction- that’s all cool.

But don’t try to make me believe that Jude Dumbledore Law wanted to grind on Coleslaw Head up there.

Finally! I’ve wanted to draw the ACTUAL Harry and Ginny kiss for ages! I love these sweet sassy children, and the movie kiss had such a serious feel to it.

Can we just talk about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter 19: “The Silver Doe”?

Can we just talk about how one of Ron’s biggest fears was not being loved as much as his siblings and his best friend?

Can we just talk about how Ron was totally convinced that Harry and Hermione were together and got along just fine without him?

Can we just talk about how Ron cried after he smashed the locket that was showing him his biggest fears, which included seeing Hermione with Harry?

Can we just talk about how Harry talked him through it and assured him that he loved Hermione like a sister and nothing more?

Can we just talk about the fact that Harry told Ron that after he left, Hermione cried all the time and barely spoke at all?

The Silver Doe is such an important chapter and the movie did not do justice to it.

#SORRY BUT#THAT CHAPTER WAS SO CRUCIAL TO BOTH RON AND HARRY’S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT#IT’S SUCH A STEP FORWARD FOR THEIR FRIENDSHIP IN GENERAL#HARRY FINALLY SEES EVERYTHING FROM RON’S POINT OF VIEW#WHAT HE FELT LIKE HE HAD TO PUT UP WITH ALL THOSE YEARS#AND HE GETS IT#HE UNDERSTANDS WHY RON LEFT AND HE’S 100% WILLING TO FORGIVE HIM#ALSO THEY LEFT OUT THE HUG DAMMIT#/////THE HUG/////#I’M SO ANGRY WHY DO THEY HATE RON#ron and harry#ron#dh#I HAVE 0 CHILL

All of this is vital and central to the Malfoy Manor scene. Ron and Harry’s growth were why Ron could trust Harry to get out for himself. Harry could trust that Ron would rescue Hermione while he was trying to get away.

Trust, ladies and gentlemen. Harry needed it. Ron proved it, “by saving my life, getting the sword, destroying the Horcrux.”

“You make it sound alot more exciting than it is.”

“I’ve been trying to tell you that for years.”

harry potter was such a pure child like he went to a ghosts death day party, he talked to myrtle bc she was lonely, he set a snake free bc it was unhappy, he genuinely was friends with luna even thought people thought she was weird, he attended aragog’s funeral, he met some lanky kid on the train and his immediate reaction was to buy the whole fucking trolly to share with him, and then when they got to hogwarts and malfoy was talkin shit about this kid he met a few hours ago he just went oh no u didnt ima protect this one hes just so pure feel free to add to this
