my sister said she likes when i make chicken and dumplings because we don’t run out of dumplings like we did when we were kids. i didn’t take a picture but we were standing over the pot and literally all you could see was a giant dumpling lump and you just had to hope there was soup underneath

today we had a staff meeting at astarbuck and for part of it they were like “here’s how to make several christmas drinks. when you have free time during your shifts, pull out the recipe books and start practicing all of them. they come out in November and you need to be prepared” and we were like “ok cool when do we learn how to make the new frapp that comes out in three days“ and they were like “whenever someone orders one while you’re working”

over the month i’ve worked at starbucks i’ve gotten at least like 4 jolenes while i’m at the register and today i finally manage to say “like the dolly parton song?” when i got her name for the order and she laughed and said “you’re too young to know that song” but seemed very pleased

my mom’s thinking about getting another dog so i keep telling her about how much i like those wrinkle dogs and she kept saying “those are bigger than what i want,” and “big dogs are more work,” and “they shed sometimes though” and i keep bringing them up not because i’m trying to talk her into it but just because i like them and i want one eventually someday and now she says stuff like “if we get one it’ll be your dog” so i like looking up pictures of them and the colors they come in and stuff and i was trying to think of a name because you want a really good name that really fits your dog right? but it’s hard if you haven’t interacted with the dog and gotten a feel for their personality so there’s only one name i could think of that’d be good for a wrinkle dog so i’d like you all to meet my imaginary dog gary

my family’s been having dinner at like 7 or 8pm lately which is fine for them but i go to bed at 8:30 because sometimes i gotta be at work at 4am so i’ve been making my own dinners around 5:30 and my sister keeps getting really offended??? i’m making mac and cheese because it’s easy and fast and i’m hungry and she’s like “uh i’m making TACOS. don’t you WANT ANY?” and i’m like no i need to eat at a reasonable time and apparently that was the wrong answer folks

two weeks ago i went in for a psych eval for this job i applied  and they told me that the psychologist had to call all of us individually and talk to us so i figured i’d hear within the week because there were 4 of us but it’ll be two weeks tomorrow. so i figured i’d email master police officer gregg because he’s my contact for this job but i don’t know what to say
